Rigidity is holding you back

We will be challenged more than we feel successful… That’s just part of life.

The problem isn’t failure itself—it’s when we become so locked into one way of doing things that failure feels like a dead end…when really, its a time to adjust course.. If you believe that success will only come through a single, rigid process, you’re setting yourself up for frustration.

So instead, focus more on what you truly want and why it matters and less on how the exact process will happen.

Consistency is often confused with the idea that thing must going according to plan. When in reality, the best plans are adaptable & in the moment, they adjust to align with the ideal outcome- your bigger vision or goal.

Here are some questions I recommend you ask yourself.

  • What is the real outcome I want out of my gym experience?

  • What do I want to feel when I get there?

  • Why does this outcome matter to me?

  • Knowing these things, does my current plan make sense?

Because if the outcome is what truly matters… does the exact process really matter that much?

Rigidity Holds You Back—and Adaptability Moves You Forward

There’s nothing wrong with having a process, but when we become obsessed with one particular way of doing things, we lose sight of the bigger picture. Success stops being about achieving the outcome and instead becomes about sticking to the plan—whether it’s working or not.

The truth is that plans change. Circumstances shift. Not everything is in our control.
What is in your control is your ability to adapt… to be willing to pivot, to change the approach when needed, and become RESOLUTE on what you actually want.

We will be challenged more than we feel successful. If you stay adaptable, failure won’t be a setback—it’ll just be part of the process. The process will change. Probably for the better.
